Wanting to swap 90-96 dual tank setup into my 87
Swapped the 87 in my signature over to a single tank setup last fall due to the DFR going bad and trashed rear fuel tank, I am wanting to go back to dual tanks this spring/summer. Instead of staying with the poorly designed 87-89 setup I want to go to the 90-96 setup. I have access to a 92 F150 4x4 with the same cab/box configuration for some parts like lines and wiring, but it's been sitting for 10+ years so I won't be pulling the tanks or pumps out of it. From what I can tell I will need the lines up to the inline fuel filter, tanks, pumps, and will have to do some wiring. I guess my main questions here are am I missing anything in that list, is the swap worth the effort, and what all is involved? I would especially like to know as much as possible about the wiring changes for the pumps. Thanks in advance.

If you use a 1990 or 1991 fuel tanks and FDM I am not for sure but I think the wiring would be plug and play.
The 1992-1996 had a pig-tail plug but you could splice the wiring at that point.
The fuel lines should plug on to your fuel injector filter and plug to the tanks from the 1990 to 1996.
