Well update, I pulled the bearing and it was distorted. Bought new one and checked fit first. The new axle still looks fine and new bearing slid on fine. After install new axle slid in fine with slight resistance, able to push with like 2 fingers. Calling that good and doing other side now.

I think they are making a wear sleeve for them now. We have a couple of 89 Crown Vics in the family so I stock a couple of axles, bearings and seals.

Great news, I will take that over a bent axle tube any day. Now no more donuts in the street, keep them in the parking lot.

Just finished and car drives great. Either the bearing was not right before or I messed it up, probably the later. I forgot to check fit BEFORE installing bearing. The kid will be happy that all is well.
