Well good morning Chris and Ken. If you're not an imposter then welcome to woodchuck hollow. We'll be skiing into July around here and ice won't be off the ponds for a while unless we get a heat wave. We have ice out contests on some of the local ponds and it often well into May before the ice is finally out.

Morning Shawn...I'm the real deal..."Number one winter hater". Unfortunately...MA Nature has chosen to have a bit of white crap spitting in our area this morning. Huge...wet flakes that go "splat" when they land!!!

Good morning chief woodchuck and all you imposters who choose to visit. Just below freezing here so the potholes and ruts have firmed up just a bit. Ice is starting to break up on the river - good news for us if it happens slowly. Looks to be a dreary day for a while but temps are moderating. Maybe spring will come before the end of April.
