Any of you guys know anything about mountain bikes or what shop to use. I have an older one that needs replacing and I don't want to buy a pos. I'm thinking a trek or kona based on the reviews. Felt keeps popping up too but I've never heard of them. I've got to go do some cardio after sitting in the plow truck and diners all winter.

Might I suggest a 2008 Specialized Stumpjumper Elite with a Shimano XTR component upgrade?

Good morning all. Washed the F250 yesterday, and it looks like new. Maybe I will get the dogs out today and work on some obedience training. They have to learn to walk together when leashed.

Good morning everyone. Was shocked yesterday to see my '97 Lincoln pass state inspection up in New Hampshire. They've got to be the pickiest state I've ever seen, a spot of exterior rust will fail a car up here.

Happy you passed Tom. I hate going into any state inspection. They generally find something to go after and then you have to go back a second time. Usually there is one real hard nose and I seem to get him most of the time.

Yeah, the whole concept of a state inspection is new to me. You don't see it in the midwest, so I've never had to bother with it until coming up here. I understand basic safety requirements, but some things they check on is simply ridiculous.

My favorite story is when I moved back to CT from upstate NY. I went to Wethersfield motor vehicle to register my pickup truck. I checked all the lights and blinkers before going in and when they checked, my right front light was out. replaced it and went back. Passed that but he noticed that I had a 1 inch crack in the right side window. So I called him a idiot. He came back with No cracks allowed window or no window. So I proceeded to the back of the pickup and pulled out a sledge hammer and before he could say a word I hit the window of the open door and little bits of glass went all over the floor. We had words and the manager passed my truck. I headed to Pandoffs junk yard and got a side window. You got to love MDV and PTSD mix.

Something you are getting rid of or just recommending? If selling, I need the 20-22" frame (xxl).

Good morning CT'ers. Still nice during the day, but will change tonight. I think I'll vacuum out the truck. I've been putting it off. Back to the cold tomorrow.
