Sure thing Tom, not a problem. The boss asked me to be on call this weekend, so I can't go too far away but I can meet you some where in the middle maybe on Saturday. During the week is tough, I get off at 8pm.

Whatever you do, folks, don't think any turbo work on an LB7 Duramax is at all comparable to turbo work on a Powerstroke. Takes longer to strip all the crap off from above an LB7 turbo than it does to have a 7.3 turbo out, rebuilt, and back in.

Good morning everybody.
Friend of mine has an LB7 and somehow I got conned into helping/doing most of the work to put on new manifolds, up pipes, and a new charger.

So far we've gotten the charger and up pipes out which is supposedly nigh impossible with the trans in and cab on. We'll see how many studs I can't break off when removing the exhaust manifolds tomorrow night.

At least he's not trying to b@stardize Chevy parts onto a Ford like another individual we both know.

I'm not supposed to laugh that loud at work. Either way the job is finally getting done so I am happy.

It helps him that he has the tech school to do most of the actual work and I've been unemployed and able to spend quite a bit of time there to "assist" aka: keep the ADD in check

Which is good cause I would normally be down there every other weekend, but I just haven't had the weekends to spare ever since we moved.
