I have a good bit of experience with deleted DPFs. Also have my tuner already. I think I'll give the stock truck a chance for a while at least. I blew a HG last year. Lessons learned 1, always tow in stock tune 2. Always make sure the tuner is set to stock tune when you tow. Those two lessons cost me $5700 last year. OOOOOOoouuuuch.

That's just very cool.
If you have the prep already then the hitch is just a drop it.

does your bed already have the pucks?

Welcome Stanley. I like the truck and I like the Huey! What branch were (are) you in? Fly em or Fix em?

Good luck with your new truck.

The factory programming gets the job done.
The active regeneration is greatly improved over the 6.4L.
When towing that heavy fiver, passive regeneration will help quite a bit.
As much towing as you do, you may enjoy a stock truck with a warranty.

Where can I get some of those hitch hole covers I see in this picture.I would like to find something to cover my holes from the superglide hitch I have.In the winter salt and dirt finds its way in through the holes.

The pucks came with the truck. I would assume you can get them from reese or ford parts.

sorta hard plastic but the outside that meets the bed of the truck is more plyable.

Actually looking at them in the picture again im not sure they would work..My holes were drilled by me and all four are not on a flat part of bed.Meaning the wholes are half on flat and half on raised part of bed.

Idk,maybe..My holes are circular ,maybe 1.75 round.Having the holes isnt a big deal until your hauling stone or dirt. Then it plugs it up.

Thanks for link
