My search for 6.0L

So I am driving the F350 that is a cab chassis today and tomorrow.
My initial scans were all good on the truck but will program and run ALL of the perimeters in the morning. I printed one of the lists that was on the site so I should be good to go. I also stopped by a fab shop to get a quote on mounting the bed that I have==fingers crossed it won't be too bad so I can make a deal on the truck--I tell you this is wearing me out--but if all goes well I'll be out of the 5.4L F250 and in a F350 Lariat with a 6.0L that's in great shape (for now)
Again I want to thank all who have helped and answered my stupid questions so far--I wouldn't have gotten far without yall.

Sincerely,

MIke

Well I'm officially part of the 6.0l family. Ran the full scans today on a good long test drive which sealed the deal for me. It's an 06 with 134K F350 Lariat--this thing is nice.
Thanks again for everyone's help and info on this engine.

TKS
I have a few things to be done to the truck but the engine is good.
The truck doesn't have a bed and I'm working with a custom fab shop on the install of one (truck is a cab chassis) once that is done--smooth sailing I hope.

TKS. Going to put a truck bed on it--be easier for a western but I just don't need that--will get more from a truck bed--hence working with a custom fab shop to intall it. I have an 8ft bed with bumper and brackets so it just the design to get it on right--will end up having to put a front body lift to get the proper lines--but will go in steps--gas filler will be the hardest part for the fab--but I'm extremely happy so far.

Dlibson put a custom bed on his cab and chassis 450. He could tell you what you need to mount the pickup bed to your frame rails.

I know he ended up putting the fuel fill for his rear tank on the back left corner of the bed floor.

Congrats on the truck. Just wondering why the front step pad is black?

Probably because it is a cab and chassis truck.
