Hi Technomon
Just wanted to point out that there's no way to tell if you have good oil pressure or not. The "gauge" is a glorified idiot light driven by a switch that closes at 5 PSI. So if you have 5 PSI the gauge will show completely normal.
Sounds to me like you need to take it into your dealer to see what they say. Any way you could post a video of the noise for us?

5.0's tick, it just is what it is. I had a 2011, 5.0 F-150 and had an audible tick from 20 miles to 32k when I traded it for my "2013 EcoBoost"
There are varying levels of what some owners believe is normal for 5.0's. I recommend doing some YouTube research, and even checking some of the Mustang forums for advise as well.
