What Transmission do I have?

I have a 1995 F-150 Supercab with 8' Bed.
The engine is the 4.9 inline 6 cylinder. The transmission is a 5-Speed Overdrive (Manual Transmission).
Aparently there were 2 different 5 speed manual transmissions that were provided, the Mazda R2 and the ZF S5-42.
I have been told by REMCO (experts in towed vehicles) that I can tow my F-150 behind my RV without modification if I have the Mazda transmission. If I don't have this transmission, I need to add a driveshaft disconnect (costs over $600 plus installation).
The only identifying item I can find on the transmission is a tag that says "F2TA KA C032628".
Can anyone tell me how to find out if I have the Mazda R2 transmission?

The Trans Code on the door jam says "M", which I assumed meant manual transmission. Perhaps it does not mean manual, but stands for Maxda. How can I find out?

Could you dig up an older thread than this one?

To answer your question Trans Code W denotes a ZF 5 speed transmission.
