2014 exp Rhythmic vibration 50-70 mph
New member here looking for help on a 2014 Ford Explorer base awd model with a 3.5.
Any ideas for a rhythmic vibration occurring between 50-70? Best way I can describe it is you can hear it like when you roll a back window down on the interstate but the rhythm is slower and the windows are up. The vibration can be felt in the steering wheel, seat and floor board. The vibration seems to happen under any load and shifting into neutral makes no difference. The ride seems rough feeling all the time, it’s almost like driving on a gravel or rumble strip road when driving at slower speeds. I’ve also noticed while driving slowly with the windows down the hub caps can be heard moving on the steel rim. (Making me wonder if it’s a rim issue, but I’ve seen no improvement with tire rotations)
I’ve replaced all 4 wheel bearings, 4 new tires, both front half shafts and the rear drive shaft.
any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance,
Grant
