I found a truck I'm buying and was wondering if there is a way to look up a car fax or some sort of history report for free on the internet? I see this truck was for sale at a Ford dealer in Wisconsin about a thousand miles ago (I googled the vin) and now its for sale 300 miles away. The truck is a few hours away from me and I was going to bring money buy it and look it over. The truck looks rust free in the pictures and they say is rust free, but maybe my definition of rust free is different, but just wish I had more history on the truck. I find it hard to believe a 11 year old truck is "rust free" from wisconsin. Paying a premium price for it being a clean "rust free" loaded truck. I'm thinking of calling the old dealer I found online tomorrow and seeing if they have any information they could give me over the phone.

 

Ya.. stop being cheap and Carfax it.

 

It also might not have been showing well in Wisconsin so the dealer sold it off to another dealer. And don't forget salt isn't used in Wisconsin like here in Illinois

 

Don't ever ask for a ride in it, or for me to pull your ranger out of the snow when it gets stuck.

 

I wasn't bashing it buddy you know I like that body style! That's a great durable pickup!!

 

Remember if that deal gets shady there's the duramax avalanche on ebay
