83 Econoline E350 Steering Gear Box Leak!!!

Hey everyone, I have a power steering leak that looks like it is coming from my gear box. It appears to be coming from where the cast part of the input shaft is bolted to the rest of the cast part of the gear box. It does'nt seem like any of the seal replacement kits have a gasket that fits there. Only the O rings and seals for the inside of the gear box. Can anyone tell me if there is or should be a gasket between the two cast pieces? If not then would replacing the input shaft seals be the possible fix to this? This is a 6.9L Diesel engine by the way. Thanks, James
