Have a 93 7.3 non turbo. The timing gear is out of timing and I can't find the Y mark on the can shaft gear. Do I have to take the water pump off or is there a way to get the Y at the top so I can align it with the ip gear? I have been bumping the truck over and searching with a knife blade and flashlight. And have yet to find the mark. Someone please tell me there's a way without taking the whole front if the motor off.
