ISSPRO EV2 fuel pressure gauge - programming warning light question

First time using the software to program the warning light on a ISSPRO EV2 0-100 psi fuel pressure gauge. Software is pretty simple & user friendly, I just can't figure out which gauge type to select :

EV2 Standard Gauge

or the

EV2 Ford w/autoheadlight gauges

Anyone have a clue?

We don't have auto-headlights, and I don't remember seeing that one in my list... so I'd try the standard first.

That's the weird thing Rich...my Excursion came with them. I thought it was an aftermarket deal but after ripping it all out each piece had Ford part numbers and all.

I guess if it doesn't work one way I'll try the other.

My 02 Excursion has them as well and I know it was factory...

I haven't installed any extra gauges yet in mine but im curious what the difference between the two options are now...

Are we simply taking about headlights that turn oh when it's dark? Because that is most definitely a factory option. I have it.

OK... it sounds like '02 had auto headlights. My mistake. Now I'm thinking there might be a product out there we haven't seen. The EV2s are a diesel performance gauge, but I fail to understand how auto-headlights have a bearing on the programming of this gauge. Maybe it has something to do with how the backlight is programmed.

Exactly what it is- all about the lighting. I'll zip ISSPRO an e-mail.

Well - ISSPRO's customer service took very good care of me. Since my 2000 Excursion came with the Auto Headlights I had to program the fuel pressure gauge using the
"Ford w/autoheadlight gauges" option in the programming software. Not only did they help me get the fuel pressure gauge lighting straight - they also helped me reprogram the EV2 gauges I purchased 3 years ago so the gauge lighting wasn't so touchy on the dimmer switch.

A+ in my book.....
