Monrovia GTG March 22, 2014

Pick-A-Part Auto
3333 Peck Rd.
Monrovia, Ca 91016
8:00am-5:00pm
March 22, 2014

A list of trucks that are being put on the lot that day:

1972 Ford Pickup
1966 Ford F250
1968 Ford F250
1971 Ford F350
1969 Ford F250

I dont know the condition of these vehicles, but i have seen a glance over the fence a couple are decent shape for parts.

I can look around the area and locate a place we can meet up for breakfast before 8:00am.

The line usually forms to get in around 7:30 or sooner.

Have you ever seen a car there that still runs good or decent? Or at all?

The ones that are listed are going in the parts yard. And there are 3 trucks in there right now, 77-79. They have a separate area for complete car/truck sales, no parting. There are 2 1961s in the area.

This is a junkyard. Not the best place to buy a classic. I think the 2 1961 Fords that they have, they are asking $3000 each.

But thats a good plan, stay in high school and save up some cash.

Junkyard is a good place to learn too. Before i do something that i dont know how to do, i go to the yard and pull it apart there. That way, if i break something, its ok cuz it's not mine.

Yeah it might not be the best place but it's just an idea for now. Maybe ill just find some pretty good ones on CL. Haha I might start doing that to trucks in the junkyard to learn a how to take apart and re-install and learn more about the vehicles.
