Replacing spark plugs on the 4.9l 300 I-6
I've got my Motorcraft copper plugs all ready to go into the truck. I've loosened the plugs except for the rear plug. That one is a little difficult to get to. Is there a trick to getting that one out? There seems to be a little vacuum manifold right on top of the plug. Do I need to remove that? I hope not.
This is a 1993, btw.
I'm used to working on import cars that have much smaller engine bays. This one is huge, and even with my long arms I find I have to just about climb into the F-150 engine bay to get to stuff.
