I have a 95' f250 with 180cc 80% injectors, intercooler, intake, exhaust, chip, and im not sure on springs and pushrods or trans. When I get on it at full throttle the trans feels like it holds but inbetween gears it shifts slow. I go through first and it suspends for about a second and smoothly shifts into second. It almost sounds like a manual with the delay between gears. Anyone know what could cause that? just too much power?
Okay, any recommendations on who to tune it? Im looking at getting a Beans D66 and efuel so I want to get it retuned anyways so I could have them mess with the tuning while they have it
You might want to hold off on making more power and making the trans do it's job correctly. Chances are you might need to do some internal work on the trans. Do you have any idea if it has been rebuilt? Might ask the previous owner whats been done to the truck. These trucks are definitely a money pit.
Well luckily I have a little ready to go into it. I was thinking racer x clutches and valve body and a d66. Hopefully a new tune as well and fix the trans issue and add some power while I am there. Sadly I have no number for the previous owner. I bought it from a dealer and they know less than I do. I may just drop it off at my buddies and if it needs a rebuild get it done and if not just go with a valve body. Any of y'all running the beans d66 and like it?
