Brakes gave out. 04 f150 only 45k miles

There is 1" to 2" of ice in the drive way here where I live. I assume once the brake fluid drained out that it hit the ice and turned a milky white.
Since I have more time than money lately I got under the truck with wrenches and vice grips and got the leaky line apart. Very cold here. Forecast is for double digit negative temps during the night. I'll take the rest of the line off today and wait a little while before proceeding to bend a new tube in place
BTW.....HAYNES suggests the 'adjustment' I made if the pedal goes to close to the floor or reverse the adjustment if the brakes drag.

Go to 2:32 in this video and that is exactly where my brake line fell apart on the drivers side.
I got the brake line out. I had to use a pipe wrench on one fitting to get it out. My next day off is Wednesday so I will hit the local 'made in china' store, pick up some pre-flared brake lines, a tube bender and a cheap brake fluid pump for bleeding after I get the line back together.
Every fitting was stuck in place. Open end wrenches were useless. Use strong vise grips or a pipe wrench if you can fit it in there.

After 4 trips to Advance I now have a new line on the drivers side from front to rear. Awesome brakes now.
However, while driving on a relatively straight road tonight, the truck started to stumble under any moderate acceleration and while going up a hill the check engine light came on. Under almost no acceleration the truck ran fine
