Caterpillar filters for oil bypass?

Hey guys. Im using all CAT filters when i get my motor back in and figured since I'm doing my efuel and the international pump with filter, id add a bypass oil filtration system to round it out. Found the CAT number for the main filter, but I'm wondering if anyone has a part number for a CAT oil bypass filter? 2 micron rating is preferred, but wouldn't mind a little smaller should that be the case. Also if anyone knows of a filter base that will fit it that'd be great too.

IDK but this will give you a bump. Sounds like a good plan!

You could always get ahold of the parts department of a cat dealer and ask them for some filter options and filter heads. It's none of my business but is there a reason it has to be CAT? There's plenty of options fleetguard makes a 2 in 1 filter. You could remote mount something like that.

If you have the number of an existing filter you need, Cat should be able to cross reference it to their number.

Im going with CAT filters because i like their design. I forget what the actual term is but they are graduated filters, so as the fluid goes through the media it gets filtered down more and more. And, I have a CAT dealer 15 minutes from me so it'd be easy to get all my filters there.

I run a Donaldson ELF 7405 and it's a Cat filter, you should be able to cross reference with Cat to get their version.

Not sure what to use for a Cat by pass. I use a Zgard over the road by pass filter.
