my 95 bird took a crap on me , the left front suspension broke , in october . i came to the decision that i'd be better off selling it and spend the money on parts for the 53 . well the guy who bought it came and picked it up , and he says he's gonna crush it !!! she still ran hard , had a pi intake and cam and head swap done , just needed the front suspension rebuilt . fudge cycle !!! i thoght about pulling the driveline out and swapping it in but couldn't as i love my flatty and the nasty mess 'o' electronics associated with it . it hurts to see it go and it bothers me even more knowing it is gonna end up as scrap as it is and was a good car ....................

 

Sorry to hear about your bird. I always thought they are bad a++. I had a 67 Catalina that would flat out haul it. After a while it was time for brakes and it needed drums all around. I checked parts stores and jy's everywhere and couldn't find any. So I sold it to a fella that had 3 of them.Said he wanted it for parts. Two weeks later I saw him driving it.Asked him where he found the drums and he told me some obscure mom and pop parts store in Council Bluffs.Ugghh. Oh well, good cars come and go I guess. At least our old fords will still be there for us.
