Bring auto window back up with out power.

I just got a non-running 91 F250 and before the truck was parked and torn into the passenger window was rolled down. I need to get it back up so it doesn't ruin the interior but the truck is in pieces and can't hook power up to it. How can I get the window up without rolling it up with the motor? Am I going to have to tie it up after disconnecting it from the motor? I just need it up so I don't have the interior trashed.

Does the window motor work? Why not just jumper power/ground either directly to the window motor or via the window switch? That would save you some effort over having to pull the window motor.

I will have to try that but I have no idea if the window motor is good or not just got the truck yesterday.

Take the motor off, push the window closed, and put the motor back on to hold everything in place.

Pulled the door panel and then accessed the window motor. Pulled the motor out and open the motor to check for any mashed teeth. No mashed or missing teeth reconnect4ed the motor prior to reinstall and it worked fine. Couldn't find anything out of place, so I think it maybe it was just been jammed for some unknown reason. Happy that was all it was. You get lucky once in a while. Thanks for your good
comments on the fix. As always, this forum rocks!!!
