Finally back in a 250!

Traded for a 2014 Fx4, 6.2L F250 CC yesterday. Had an Ecoboost. I do miss that engine, but love being back in a SD.

Welcome to FTE.

Why did you trade in the F-150 EB?

I did the same thing, glad I am back in a SD. EB is nice, but with all the issues that plague the longevity of the engine, it is nice to be back in a simple V8.. Congrats on your new FX4..

The 150 was just a bit light for my towing. I had to give up about 3 foot of trailer to tow my tractor, and that left the shredder hanging about 4 ft off the trailer. I loved the EB, just needed a little more truck. And I just love the SDs.

Me too

I have a heavy boat that my old 150 struggled with. Last year for my birthday I bought a slightly used 2012 250. This site has helped me decide on upgrades this last year. Thanks, I will get pics soon.

Yeah Im loving it. Putting ready lift 4 inch blocks under it Thursday. Hooked up to the tractor and saw that "rear sag". That 6.2 pulled it pretty good though. Miss not having that EB low end torque though.
