Are you going with a satin finish or is that just base?

Looking very good. I like the look of just base coat, when I did my panel I was almost tempted to go purchase a satin clear.

Nice paint area as well. Wished I had such an area - can you say jealous. By the way, what is the blue color you used?

Do the doors do much swinging when you spray them that way?

It is starting to get very exciting now, its going to be a beauty. Be carful handling after, that's when I got several slight lumps and bumps, because I had no place to store the painted parts, and had to move em from place to place. Yours is coming out real nice.

That's just base. One more paint coat, then clear.

Beagle, don't give me too much credit. The guy in the pic is NOT me and that is not MY paint booth. The guy is Jesse from KnK Kustoms here in Tucson. They've done my body work and they're doing the paint. After the paint is done, my son and I are doing all the reassembly etc.

The blue is the standard Ford navy blue paint they use on today's F-150s and a few other vehicles. It is called dark blue pearl metallic. Paint code is DX.

Thanks! And just to be clear--NOT my paint room and that guy in the pic isn't me. Paying for paint and body work. My son and I did disassembly and we are doing all the reassembly. It has worked out well for us. t
