65-66 Style Side Bed Needed

Hi all - I am looking for a decent condition 65 or 66 Style Side bed. Could be long or short bed, short bed better but beggars will cut and weld as needed... Any (real) leads appreciated.

Where are you? I have one that's in need of rust repairs, it's a shorty. I'm replacing it with a stepside. YOur welcome to it when I swap it out.

It's solid to use, but I'm not sure I'd try fixing the rust on the outside. I'll get some pix in the daylight.

As to when, I have to finish shortening the stepside I have, been having problems getting back to it, so I'm not sure when I'll get it done. My wife keeps throwing projects at me and slowing me down. How soon do you need it?

Im not in any great rush. I have a 64 F-250 4X4 with 120" WB, so I need to tweak it a bit to accept the short bed. If the one you have is decent enough, it will surely serve the purpose for now if I don't fix yours and get another one later on. At least I will have a bed whereas right not I have nothing but a frame.

Thanks, I'll keep checking the post. I live in Dover, we are getting whacked with snow today. Take care -

Ya I was suppose to run the Kenworth up there in the morning for a load of wood, but I swapped it for a local run. We lucked out, got an inch this time.

65/66 ford pickup bed
This guy has a long bed he's been trying to sell since last October. I did contact him about it a few months back and he was eager to sell and said he'd take $200 for it before I even went to look at it. He send me a couple pics and it looked decent in the low quality cellphone pics. I decided to pass on it and just fix my existing bed short bed instead of cutting that one up.
