hey guys, girlfriends 04 escape airbag light is blinking code 37. read something about it being on passenger side what do i look for ? just got done putting in 2 coils,2 cats, egr,o2 senser,intake gaskets upper and lower,pcv,injector orings all due to misfire sure there not connected just added info. other problems include heated seat switch lights for a second then shuts off, and no cruize control. need to get light off for inspection by end of month any help would be great!

 

Lamp fault code 37 indicates a circuit fault in the passenger side airbag circuits. You will need to pull codes from the RCM, as the lamp code is generic and won't point you in a meaningful direction. In the mean time, you can disconnect the battery then disconnect and inspect the airbag connectors under the passenger seat. They are yellow, so easy to spot. Sometimes there is just a bad connection in the connectors and disconnecting and reconnecting them can fix the problem.

 

ok thanks i disconnected plug under seat spray them with electic cleaner and reconnected them. so far see hasnt said it came back on. looking at code reader - scaner.
