I have a 98 f150 4x4 with a bw 4406 transfer case. I'm replacing the rear extension housing on it. My question is, there is a electric plug wire that I have to cut. Can it be cut an the new housing be installed and the wire be soldered back together? An Is there only one wire there inside the plastic?
