Help me figure out if I have an early or late 99

Firstly, I've searched and read for hours. I love this site and all the info that it has within.

I have a 99 f-250 that has a build date of 1/99

The commonly found cutoff is 3/99 when looking up parts. Yesterday, I tried doing the front rotors and got the early 99 rotors and it didn't fit the drivers side but it fit the passenger side. I have one late and one early hub.... I don't know if someone updated one side or if someone smoked a bearing and put the wrong one on. Next week they both will be the late 99 style hubs and rotors.

I have an AIH with relay.

I have badging on the door skins not front fender.

I have a CRUISE light in the instrument cluster.

I don't know which injectors I have. There is a new Garrett turbo on it but they may have updated the turbo and intake when they did that.

So, what do I have? Early 99 or late? Or a combination of each.....

Today it got a new severe AIS filter.

Thanks!

What size is your intercooler piping? What cover do you have on your engine?

A build date of 12/7/98 or later is a late '99. There may be some components in the front end and brakes that are the same as early '99. As far as the engine goes, it's late '99.

I will look at the intercooler piping. Not sure off the top of my head.
The cover is missing. Small pieces of the broken plastic still linger on the two bolts/studs that should have held it in place.

Pikachu,
what is your guess to my weird drivers side late 99 hub/rotor and passenger side early 99 hub/rotor? Most part houses list "up to 3/99" and "from 3/99" as the part fitment which is why I brought home early 99 rotors. Could this have caused an error in the hub?

Thanks for the input, and the good news that the engine is late 99!

It's possible someone used the wrong part if it was replaced before. A lot of places don't even ask what the build date is when you get parts.
