Lol. Nuttin' wrong with a little crazy..

Let me know how much they gouge you for the tint, and how you like it, if you would. I've always been going to get mine tinted, just never have.

Darin, they are doing it for $350. For that they are removing the old tint, I'm getting high end tint, and adding an eyebrow on the windshield.

I'm sticking to 35% on the side and back windows and 5% on the eyebrow. The main reason for only doing 35% on the sides and back is because it bugs the hell out of me when I can't see out of the windows pulling trailers at night time. Plus, Suntek CXP 35% blocks more heat than the mid level Suntek Carbon 5% tint.

I got the mule tinted but didn't think it was dark enough. The eyebrow I didn't like at all at first but it grew on me. I still think its to dark though. So on the mare, whenever I get around to it, will be darker on the windows and lighter on the eyebrow. Your %'s are confusing, it seems like 5% would be lighter then 35%? IDK

The percentage refers to how much light transmits through the tint. So 35% is lighter than 5%.

We changed our minds and went to 18% on the back window and the rear doors. We compared 35% and 18% outside and wow this tint is much easier to see out of than I'm used to. Lol Only kept 35% up front for legal reasons. This tint is really easy to see out of.

Edit- He cut me a little price break too. $329 out the door.

The amber is going away on Saturday. I'm taking a trip up to see Chris. While I'm there we are going to put on a stock front bumper, '03 lights, and recon clear clearance lights.

Wow, that tint looks great, from inside and out! I'm gonna have to save a few more pennies.

For the record, I tried some different rattle can types on mine and the appliance paint from Home Depot seems to weather the best.

You know.... I was actually thinking about the door handles yesterday when I had it in the shop doing the back bumper. I should have had them paint those to match the truck while it was in there. lol
