500,000 6.7 Power Strokes

Diesel Power magazine(Feb 2014) is reporting that Ford just dropped in the 500,000th 6.7 engine in the Kentucky truck plant. The engine went into a F350 Lariat. Ford is calling it a milestone and said the demand for the engine has outpaced expectations.

So how does everyone like there 6.7?

Anyone taking delivery of an F350 Lariat?

.

Explain please......

500,000 6.7 engines, Navistar International must be sick.

6.7 has only been around a few years and this is incredible.

Thanks, I saw that a couple of days ago on another thread.

Wow, the cars should be able to be repaired with no problems, building and foundation is a "whole" different set of issues.

That is crazy. I would like to know the production numbers of the 7.3, 6.0 and 6.4.

I came from a 05 6.0 psd and my 6.7 psd is hands down a much better truck including improved fuel economy to boot.

An added bonus is my 6.7 psd doesn't leave oil spots on my driveway.

My 6.7 is wonderful, Love it. I miss my 7.3 but I think I will survive.

Bummer about the Corvette museum.

I have long said that my 7.3 Excursion was the best vehicle I have ever owned, but this truck is probably going to change that statement in the long run. It is more comfortable, pulls better, gets better fuel mileage and just makes me smile..... :-)

Thanks guys it looks like Ford has a hit in this engine, and combine that with the Torque shift trans and the Super Duty chassis and you have a win win win truck.

Looking forward to the day I can upgrade from my 05.

Apparently Ford hit this number back in September on a 2014 MY.
