Engine oil in my air intake

I searched through the forums but did not find any mention of this problem, so would like to see if anyone here can help me. I want to say up front that I am not a mechanic, and some of the descriptions I give may not be spot on word wise and I hope you'll forgive me. I have had a miss/stutter at about 45 mph and 1800 rmp for quite a long time, and within the last 6 months had new plugs (Motorcraft) and 1 COP replaced (due to it giving up the ghost). I know the miss/stutter is common, and that I should have all COPs replaced, but cost is a bit of a problem. That is on my list to get done. And the PCV valve has been changed 9000 miles ago, and also today. However, in just the last couple of weeks, I started having miss/stutter at 50+ mph that I could not accelerate out of. Had a the engine serviced last week, and was told I have engine oil showing up in my air intake and on my air filter. Cleaned the MAF and the housing, ran good for a short while, then started the stuttering again at 50+. I absolutely know this is not good on those new plugs nor on the engine itself, but am at a loss where to go to find some answers. Nearest Ford Dealer is 2 hours away. Can anyone give me some help and guidance. Thanks so much!

Sorry, I need to add that this is a 2002 F150 XLT SuperCrew, Triton V8, 5.4L gas with auto transmission, 188,000 miles and throws no hard codes. A reader did show a P1131 code the other day. And also, the stuttering happens both under load (like going uphill) and some on flat ground now, but never down hill, at least not yet. Hope I've given enough information.

Your description so far indicates 2 issues.
The 1131 code is a leak in the intake tact causing the lean code.
Oil may be the PCV valve and or the 1131 code cause.
.
The misfire is a coil with shorted turns.
The best way to find it is with a good Scanner not a Reader because it won't set a code.
Use the Scanner to look at the misfire counts for each cylinder.
It's called Mode 6, Test 53 in Ford terms.
This will tell you what cylinder is the cause.
A second way is to set the Scanner up in Trap mode and drive the truck.
When the misfire happens the data is frozen so you can see the cylinder involved.
Your dealer should be able to handle both issues but at there charges.
Good luck it.

Thank you for the prompt answer. Internet service was down all day today, or I'd been back sooner.

Took the intake manifold off today, and there is pooled oil under it. Does not appear to be any leak. Could the PCV valve cause this much oil accumulation?
