EVAP PURGE FLOW VALVE STICKING
Anyone encounter problems replacing part 9C915 ?
"CODE P0443 canister purge fault" diagnosed for $99.00,
Found: EVAP PURGE FLOW VALVE STICKING
Recommending: "Diag, Replace sensor then retest" Estimate is $520 less diag...
They want to install a new 9C915 which they called in hand writing a Canister purge sensor but I've seen it called a canister purge valve on another thread by FIREME who puts 9C915 as "toward the driver's headlight assembly, near the radiator. You'll need an 8mm socket to remove it"...
3.0L DURATEC FFV V6 ENGINE

It generally works best here when people contain their own issues within their own threads - and one topic per thread generally works best.
Different people have different cars/trucks/engines with different factory calibrations, different circumstances, different years, different options, etc. etc. etc.
While it may seem best to "keep this topic together" it in fact muddies up the waters by trying to combine different people's problems into the same thread, it gets too confusing trying to keep each person's unique circumstances straight.
