After 25 years.. It has been rescued!

Someone mentioned that the OP probably gave up on this project due to the condition it was in to start with. That may or may not be true as some of us know that sometimes life gets in the way and projects sit for awhile. Case in point is the fact that my projects are on hold due to a renovation job that I wasn't expecting to be doing which was preceded by a patio and sidewalk job that I wasn't expecting. Working full time may not sound like a real legit excuse to put a project on hold, but I'm retired due to health reasons and working full time was not expected. I have added to my parts collection in order to stay busy on my projects. Hopefully the OP gets a chance to respond to his thread as I'm a bit curious about how it's going myself.
Hey JD, how's it going, your post count isn't growing like it was. Hows that flat deck, your trucks still not for sale, hand working okay.

One can tell how long it's been sitting since it has bias ply tires on it. The last time I bought new bias ply tires from a local shop was around 1990 as hardly anyone was offering them anymore except on special order. But hey, I don't see a lot of cancer. The surface rust on the frame, axles, etc can easily be cured by shot blasting. I must say you're off to a good start.
