911 degel damage

I have a friend with a 05 f250 w/ 150k on it. He bought some low grade fuel, thought he was gelling up and put 2 large jugs of 911 in it. He then took it to the dealership and they installed a new set of fuel filters, upon my inspection the secondary filter has 2 tears in it. They also Told him it needed 4 injectors. Now I have it sitting in my heated shop and currently have a miss. I have cylinder cont codes for 4 and 5. I am going to drain his tank and get 10 gallons of good fuel and see what happens. Did that much 911 damage all the injectors? It passed the bubble test, ficm voltage and icp/ipr values are looking good. It's pretty much stock except for the stc fitting and egr delete I helped him with last winter. The dealer also installed an oem oil filter on a taller Napa cap. I am not completely confident in the dealers diagnosis after seeing the oil filter and the new torn fuel filter.

My understanding is that the 911 has alcohol in it and that
will allow any water to pass throw the water bearer film
of the first filter. Once that water gets to the injector tip
is boils and can really screw up the nozzle.

I may be wrong about the 911 but the alcohol is right.

The gelled fuel may not have had water in it. If it didn't, I truly do not think that the 911 did any damage. Low fuel pressure may have though.

That's what I thought. When looking at the fuel in the secondary filter it had small pieces of gelled fuel floating around in it. I have a feeling I may be helping with more injectors. I just got my hpo connector on my 03 fixed last night which broke after my injector swap during reassembly.

The fuel stinks something horrible like that 911. What a mess.
