I think I'm going to do a cabin, I thought the trucks around the cabin area would look cool.

There you go Doc, you big baby! Are you afraid of the dark? Kevin you better bring a big flash light to help Doc back to his cabin. Lol
Doc my bed is going to be a 2 mile walk on a nature trail through the woods. Do they have bears in ohio?

Kind of strange that we've focused on places with cabins for months, then people stay in the motel?!

LOL. I might be afraid of the dark, but I'm not the one who is going to drag a camper across three states behind an antique truck so that I can spend "quality private time" with Bob.

Don t forget his lovely wife is going to be with us too plus he is going to be in his truck pushing me up the hills of Ohio with his Ford built Truck!
I may get a cabin if the time gets close and there is still one available , I am bringing my camper so I can leave room for people that will need the cabins/ rooms at the lodge. I think there maybe some teardrops ( campers) coming and I would not want them to feel alone down at the campground .

Ps I have spent two nights with Bob in very close quarters on the road retrieving a truck that he helped me find and get! The quality time that I had on that trip is what makes these trips so rememberable.

Wow! Just checked, 750 miles, not sure if I can get Micki interested in a long road trip. Might have to do this one alone.

That would great Jeff ! I have 6 sits at the far edge of the campground picked out. Site 81-87. There are a 107 camp sites in the campground.
I was talking to my wife about the drive down...and she has decided that she is going to drive down in her car. That works for me!!! I can play my music I like then and there is more room for my dogs.

Well, I mentioned it to Micki and got the "look" Ya know the one guys, like "you want me to do what?"
I'll get right on trying to figure out funding for this, home repairs and remodel have pretty much taken every extra dime I can make for the last year. Trying to live in my Dad's old river camp and finish a remodel that he started 20 years ago is a fulltime job. I figure it'll take another year to finish

I m going on the 6 year plan on our remodel . I understand the money drain...
I sell it to her like this, we can get away from the remodel by going to these truck meets!

If I do make it'll be solo, after getting her to go to Pigeon Forge in 2012 for a truck show and our wedding, she's not too fond of long trips in my 53 anymore. I'll keep trying to get her on board, but I doubt it.

Well Jeff I think the Guys will love to see your diesel truck.
I know I did. And if the Little woman is cool with letting ya go
than go for it. They say getting away for a while is a good thing.

The best way to convince your wife to come along is to tell her the guys on the board say it was a lot of fun at the three previous meets. Then tell it's "OK" if she doesn't want to come. She'll just hate to sit home thinking you're having fun. She won't want that to happen.
