Hello everyone! Just joined FTE a week or so ago so I decided I would put up my truck for everyone.

I have a 1964 f100 long bed with a 223 with T98 four speed and a Ford 9" rear end. I bought this truck in September 2013 for a cool $1,300 from an old farmer. The truck has 52,000 original miles and the body is actually in really good condition for being 50 years old.

Some day I would love to completely re do my truck, but being a 20 year college, I don't have a lot of time or finances to do a whole lot of work to it. I have done a many small things since i bought the truck but this summer I hope to update the front and rear suspension and swap out the 223 with a 302 with EFI to make it a better running truck for the winter.

Welcome to FTE. Hey I was really wanting to see the truck, but the pics did not show up and or will not download. I have a '64 and I always like to see others for sure. Not sure what kind of shape it is in but nice price for sure. Try those pics again, would like to see your purchase.

Here's How to Post Pictures:
1. Login to FTE.
2.Click User CP (In the Top Left Hand Corner)
3.(On the Left, There will be a list, The 5th Option Down, will say "Pictures & Albums) Click That.
4.Then, Click Add Album, Enter a title, and description, if ya want to.
5. Click Upload Pictures, Then click Browse, Locate the Files of your truck. (You can add 3 files at a time)

8. Click The Picture you want to post, it will give you two codes at the bottom, Right Click The Second one (It say's BB Code, Then Say's [IMG]http:blahblahblah...[/IMG])
Then, Once that is highlighted, Right Click, Then Copy, Then Paste it into your post.
You can add up to 30 Images in one FTE Post.

It seems awkward, but whenever you "insert a picture" to one of these threads, the forum is looking for the picture somewhere on the web (which is always available) rather than from somewhere on your hard drive (which isn't always available).

Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and sign up for a free account. Then create an album for your truck. Upload any pics you want to post on FTE to that album. Have this album open on your computer when you want to post pics on FTE.

AHHHH. Yea ND, didn't notice.
Arctic, thanks, yea is a nice looking slick...at a nice price. I want to say that bed is not typically diamond plate..? But dang yea got a nice start for sure. Custom Cab! As for the 6 banger, I would leave it, rebuild it. The PO of mine pulled it out and put a 460 in it. Power yes, but can you say GAS HOG.....lol....I was told those six cylinders have good torque PLUS it leaves it as original! But you don't have much in it so I guess do what makes ya feel good.

It might be original 52K, engine looks like it has never been touched. What appears a little odd is the Custom Cab scripts on door. If no side moldings were used, most '64 Custom Cab pickups came with the "Custom Cab" door handle scratch guards. Is it possible to add a photo of "warranty plate" on driver side door? It will answer if it was originally a "Custom Cab" and color originally painted at factory.

I know that the previous owner took the old wood bed out and welded diamond plate in the bed. Also, I know he took off the side trim moulding and welded up the holes.
