I see lots of posts on "where". How about some on "when". Just saying "March" doesn't count.

 

Yeah, I'm going to assume they're new. I don't remember seeing them the last time I was in the park (last spring)...seems like there was eight of them in a row more or less. I didn't go up by the group lodge...kind of figured those in this group are either campers or cabin folks. When I turned around after taking the cabin photo there was two does and three yearlings standing just inside the tree line across the road.I don't think that part has been figured out, what weekend sounds good to you Walley? Right now the weekend of the 15/16 more than likely wouldn't be a good weekend for us...the curly haired monster's birthday is that weekend. Who's kids are on spring break which week this year? I *think* ours are the week of 3/24 through 3/29.

 

Yeah Zach it is Springbreak State wide March 21st is the last day of school for the kiddos that is now law was signed in about 2 or 3 years ago. Makes it more convenient for those that have kids in two different school districts with the blended families of today.

 

My kids are all glad they're grown. However, the 2 of them that live in Stone County are not so happy, their kid's spring break was canceled because of missing 15 1/2 days of school for snow.

 

Right now the 15th or the 29th would be best for us.. preferably the 29th just to give us a little extra time.

 

How about a motion to have the GTG at Lake Ft. Smith state park, March 29th?

I know 'Roberts Rules of Order' state that I cannot present a motion at this time but, as for discussion I regret I already made plans (last year) to take a trip with the lil missus. But I will be glad to help make arrangements for the FS State Park. We are going to be in White River State Park at Lakeview,AR. near Bull Shoals,Ar.

What's all this talk about a GTG?

 

We're trying to drum up some interest for it, Lake Ft. Smith state park, March 29th.

 

Scott & Dave sure are being quite. You don't think they're worried the slide won't be big enough for them...do ya?

 

If its not I'll bring the gas hatchet and we'll make a project out of it. The 29th at Ft. Smith lake sounds great to me . Do I need to bring my grill ? Is that the pavilion in the pictures ? Sounds like burgers ,dogs .
