How much lift to fit 40" tires with Bushwacker cutouts?

As title says.. anyone know?
I also got Road Armor bumpers.

I want a set of American Force 20x14 rims with 40x15.5 Toyo´s

I want as little lift as possible, if it requires more than 6" lift i will have to go with 38´s instead.

Hope for some help.

Thanks!

With cut outs you might be ok. VJ on here was going to go the same route I believe. 38's will deff fit with 6" lift and cut outs but not 100% on 40s

Yeah, i was hoping for a leveling kit with 38's.
If i need 6" lift to fit 40's i'll pass.
Gonna feed her with a 600+ hp compound setup. so i dont want that aggressiv angle on the driveshafts.
Does anyone in here tried to fit 38/40's while keeping the lift at a minimum?

Lift

Jeephero did it.

He put 38's on stock suspension with 2" adapters and cutouts.

That looks nice!
Think i'll with the 38's, looks just right and with so little mods on my suspension saves a lot of cash that i can use on s set of American Force wheels

I don't know what cut outs will get you, but I run 35X14.5 on a 12 wide wheel and it took 8" to keep from rubbing

Nope

600HP should be a wicked beast to build. Look forward to seeing her when she's done

Yeah, i've had a couple of RAM's and Ex's now, and want to build this truck just right even though its gonna cost a fortune (for my account at least) to make it happen.
The powerplant is already done, minus the exhaust/turbo setup. Gonna be two billet Borg Warner turbos, S475 over S362 with two seperate wastegates, custom manifolds and up-pipes.

Just got the frame back from sandblasting and painting, so the next step is assembly.
Two layers of epoxyzink and then two layers of black:-)
