2004 F250 6.0 Help needed

I need help to try and determin what may be wrong.. the following has or is happening:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
<o></o>
About 1K ago had repairs done for the following reasons: at highway speed, between 60-70mph and at 2k rpm, if holding speed/rpm the engine would shutter a bit. Repaired the following: cleaned and replaced the o-rings and gaskets to the EGR, replaced all filters (fuel and oil), replaced the water separator and sensors for the water separator. The degassing bottle had a slight leak, I replaced that to. picked it up ran good, got two or three puffs of white smoke over the next 100 miles or less. then started to shutter again.<o></o>
<o></o>
I added Kleen diesel additive, help a little, I think..<o></o>
<o></o>
About a 1000 miles after those repairs, the following happens:<o></o>
still shutter when hold speed between 60-65. I was stopped at red light, engine idles very rough, no power. I got moving, but engine dies. Almost felt like it was out of fuel. Once on the side of the road, I re-cycled the key a few times and it started. Ran like normal for about 5 miles. as I pulled down my street, engine started chugging badly, no power, no smoke, coasted into the drive way.<o></o>
<o></o>
any thought? I spent a ton of money on this truck, last trip to the shop was a grand... does this sound like an injector problem? or is there anything a simple diagnosis can be done at home to possibly rule out items which are easy to try..<o></o>
<o></o>
Thanks<o></o>

David, welcome to FTE.

You posted this thread in the light duty F150 section. I've moved it to the 6.0L PSD forum where you can get some proper help for your truck.

Is there any codes stored? Any way to check values of the truck like fuel pressure, icp, temps and so forth? Are you using oem fuel and oil filters? Oil level?
