It has not escaped me that wood is very valuable, even if only for burning.

And good hardwoods, such as maple, those impart an excellent flavor togrilled and smoked things.

There is info online about making your own bacon, and many other kinds of smoked meats. So this is not all a complete ruin - there are some good things to it.

I can taste it already, can you?

Aside from the damage that I hope all of you escaped, can you also find some advantages in it?

It is my nature to make the most of what I find even in hardship, we should all explore that...
