'97 Expedition TRACK BAR

Any ya'lls folks out there replace the rear track bar yet, and if ya' did... Are you able to get them anywhere other than the $~DEALER~$...? I replaced the Lower Trail Arms about 2 yrs. ago with boxed ones that even came with grease fittings...{Very nice}!! Anyhow, Lemme' know if someone makes them, if anyone has come across them made better than dealer..? Thank You,
Big Gar~

Contact PMT Fabrication. They don't list the trackbar on their website, but they do make them for about $175 last I knew.

I called PMT Fabrication for the TRACK BAR, and the woman I spoke with confirmed what I already assumed.... They can't make them for nearly what Ford gets for them, price wise...... And they really don't have the sales for them..
They used to get around $220.oo and I know I can get one from Ford for $100 bucks, but not nearly as nice..!! Oh well, whatta' ya' gonna do..?

Anyone hear of another guy makin these, please lemme' know..?
Don't need one till late April, before my Penna. Inspection is due..

I would only have an extra $100 invested in the project over what I have paid so far. Buying DOM steel is an expensive proposition when you don't need a full stick and having to buy every bolt and bushing isn't cheap either. I will go ahead and say that I am idiot for thinking I could make my own and come out ahead."

It's not for me, I'll find someone that does that kinda work everyday and just payem'......... I wanna' enjoy the truck for awhile, not just keep building it.... I thought I was done with that after the last lift kit..?
But Thanx Anyway..... G~

Bought the lower ones off some guy on ebay that makes them a couple years ago. They were real good hd quality but no grease fittings. I'll see if he's still there and post back.

Naaaaa, Definitely appreciate the options...... But I got too much to do myself with the truck, than to be building mine rite now... Got an engine coming soon and trying to get some things together ... Tryin' to hook up a B&M Shifter in my center console, and then we got some KC Lites to go up on the roof. So, I would just be happy with getting the bar frum whomever may offer the best one
. I got a month or so to find one. Worse thing could be that I gotta get Fords junk.!! Could be worse, hasn't broke~~~~~ G~
