I don't know of the cost there but Canadian Tire wants 531 a tire.

Weird. Here it's the other way around. At the same place the Dunlops are 367 and the BFG's are 405.

How about the Falken Rocky Mountain ATS ?? They had a good write up in Petersen's Four Wheeler.. Discount Tire Direct has them on your size for $258.97

Or the wild Peak for $265

I just found the brand but not that model. Wild Peak A/T was the one I found. They are 424 a tire. These are the advertised prices of all the tires. Once in the shop the price will drop a bit.

One thing I am trying to do is stay away from the big chain tire shops. Looking for a more independent type place and to be honest so far they have been the cheapest.

I guess that would be a good way to go. The AT2's I had put on the Xterra was from a local shop, different from the one I used to use.

I guess my thought process is I would rather help out the smaller chain than the huge chain. The first place I stopped at has one store in BC and two in Alberta. Today one was Big O and the other was one with a half a dozen or so stores.

The place I got mine was an Offroad place that works on 4x4's just the one local shop. The other place I used to go was a local shop as well but twice as big..

That's a big chain. See their stuff on tv sometimes. I would thought the bigger chain stores would be cheaper because of the amount of product they sell. It doesn't seem that way here.

That helps. I may be able to hit a sale sometime between now and spring. My thermometer says -14c.
