Good evening Shawn. Been in the garage working on getting the transmission out. Damn thing is fighting me the whole way. Got 4 bolts left and I think it will come out. But destroyed the cv shaft end threat threads onto the spindle. Frigging rust.
Here is a picture of the replacement transmission

Good morning Jim and Vermont woodchucks everywhere.
Sounds like a fun project - you have all the good projects Jim. That transmission looks like something that came in a cereal box. And of course you'll have a great time getting the old one out and then something won't work or fit with the new one. Or you'll strip out a thread or two - or something. That's why I don't undertake projects like this on old vehicles - I always end up with something that won't work and I don't have a shop like you do so I am up the proverbial creek without a paddle. But glad to see you're making progress.

Good morning Shawn. Your not quite right if this looks fun. I already need new or replacement shaft. More fun this morning. Excursion front driver side tire was flat. NASCAR pit crew change on that so I could take it. WTF with me and tires. Third different one in like 3 weeks on 3 different vehicles
Maybe the worst of the day is over now.
