What is important right now is that we have captured the real estate - how we portion it out, well...

I imagine it will be a whole lot like a 'slightly different' state chapter.

Salute, and BZ all around, this is a major milestone make no mistake about it.

Rob, here is some stuff I have in my IE Favorites list. You probably already have these, but if you don't it could save you some time for inclusion in the Oregon section.

State of Oregon: Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs

Service Office Locator Veteran Service Officers

VA Portland Health Care System Home

That gives me an idea - a thread in the forum with links like that for quick reference would be great.

Also, I just went to the "FORUM TOOLS" link in the main VetNet area and subscribed to the entire forum itself...

I can get the info for Nebraska. We just need a place to park this.

Start a thread and I can sticky it as a work in progress. That way it will stay on the top of the forum.

It might be a good idea to go with a single thread rather than having fifty individual state threads all stickied to the top, or possibly work out a regional arrangement.
I expect those who are overseas have base facilities so that's not an issue.

Dunno, whatever does the job best I suppose...

I agree. Then just list the info alphabetically by state within that thread.

What should we call it, as a thread title?

It looks like a damned good idea, and it should be done in a way that will last.

How about "VA contact information by state". Something along those lines.

That sounds good, any objections or revises?

I like what Pat came up with. The only suggestion I have is to use title-case for the title, and switch it a bit, like this:

"State VA Contact Information"
