My PO had chopped it off and welded flat panels onto the fenders even so it looks like a quarter pie now lol....as bad as it sounds at least I'm not alone in dealing with the mess that is a butchered bed! Are you planning on fixing the bed or going to a flat rack? I intend on bringing a full bed back in, but unless I find a decent donor, I'll have to take a second mortgage out for new pieces seeings how all fenders and both sidewalls were hacked

Nice!...I put a flatbed on an old 350 I had in highschool and it was virtually indestructible. I'm sure it'll be a million years before I actually scrape up the cash to redo it so it'll be chopped up for awhile yet. A good friend of mine has a 351W w/ complete AOD sitting in his garage right now that I'm also debating on going with (especially if I can't get it running with this 272)...good luck on your build!

I believe that I owe ya'll some pics
She ain't too pretty yet, but she's mine =)
(Gas tank I had just taken out, so many holes it looked like someone hit it with buckshot)
(Wife helped me scrape some of the windshield off, can you tell which side she did?!)
Had to show off some of the rust
Most of the floor is there.
I think I have 34 total pics on my photobucket link below:
