Totally off-topic - how to add oil to your engine

This has been making the rounds in my e-mail recently and I thought I'd post it here cuz it seems so stupidly funny.

Hey, that chick is ahead of some people I know; I have a friend who didn't know oil had to be periodically checked/added/changed in a car. About 30,000 miles after she drove it off the dealer lot, the engine froze solid.

At least if she'd occasionally poured it all over the engine, someone could have seen her and asked WTF she was thinking...and that Nissan might still be on the road today.

Maybe she thought the engine needed a bath.

I worked at a parts house back in the 90's . A Girl came in for oil . She asked how much she should add . The guy " helping " her said to fill it till it was full . She bought a case ... a bit later she came and bought more . Well.... she filled that little car FULL of oil . I do not remember the car brand , just the mess . Things did not go well when she tried to start the car !

I had a customer bring in their car, it was a little Toyota Camry, and it was slipping. Checked trans fluid, completely empty. Filled it up and started it to see where the leak was, couldn't find one. But it looked like it was powered by a steam engine. Just rolling smoke out of the tail pipe. The guy had drained his trans thinking it was his engine, and then poured 5 quarts of motor oil on top of what was already in his engine. Thankfully no damage was done to either trans or engine but wow, what a mix up.
