35 Lbs of boost! You suck!! LOL...my boost is so terrible. That'll change soon hopefully. I am lucky to get to 15 if I push the snot out of it. It's all stock though. Open exhaust and DP and Intake, but that's it. Nice work though man! Must feel good.
im not sure on the injectors, ive never taken them out, i do know that they aint original, when i did the UVCH they arnt all the same color, some are yellow some are brown/black colored. i know that in the Detroit world we have one color of injectors for factory originals and one color for reman/aftermarket. i do question the accuracy of that gauge though, so take that reading with a grain of salt cause i don't know that i trust it. i plan on running rosewood stage II when i get the 10,000 dollars to get it built right though lol
Bryon, how do you get away with open exhaust in CA?
Glenn they don't have emissions or inspection on pre '99 diesel trucks. It's why I am so stoked to have this truck. I just pay my registration with the criminal "weight fee" that they collect. Any truck over 10,001 pounds GVW is rated as "commercial" even though my truck does not see a lick of commercial work or hauling. I am still trying to figure out how to fight them on that. Registration this year: $571
OMG, that's probably $500 more then I spend in SD! Do what a lot of full time RV's do, get a mail forwarding service out of SD or Texas and register your truck there.
Looks awesome! How hard was it to get to the manifold bolts and collector bolts once the trans was out?
Its not real bad, honestly getting the back two turbo pedestal bolts in and out were the worst during this project, the collector stays on the turbo during install and removal so there aint alot of space to work with. i broke a couple of the collector bolts during removal since they were froze in place and just cut the original manifold to up pipes with the torch, all new hardware and coated it with nickle anti seize.

I have been thinking about it. I have family in Texas and could use their address, but my California pride won't let me put a Texas plate on my truck! It goes down to $371 next year. Pay to play I guess...
My homemade bellows are still holding up, no leaks as of yet, almost a year in now... seen a few people asking about the turbo and bellows builds again this year so figured might bump this thread back up for um to see.

Great and educational thread, thanks for taking the time to post your adventures. Wondering how you welded the ss bellows to the steel pipes? I think 309 (?) ss rod is good for welding ss to steel. Did you tig it? Can't really tell from here by the pictures.
I've seen those bellows at Summit Racing but based on the price I assumed they were Chinese. From the box in your picture t looks like they're made in Canada?
Yea those bellows are the same ones the companies who make the pipes and sell them for 400+ dollars use, and I think the up pipes themselves are stainless as well. Welded with stainless steel MIG welder.
