Why not just put a T in where your existing Oil Pressure Sensor is? Or put the sender in the other Oil Pressure port on the engine?

Potentially a good solution. Where is this pressure port?

The only problem with that might be no flow past it to be accurate.

There should be one at the front of the engine by the oil filter mount and where the fuel pump would mount. Should also be one on top of the engine behind the intake manifold.

If you're worried about flow past it then do your engine a favor at the same time and run a line connecting the 2 oil sensor ports, increases flow to the back of the motor, and put the Oil Temp Sensor inline on the new feed line. Make sense?

Cody, take a look at my pictures in this post. You can see the oil pressure sending unit at the rear of the block where I tapped off an oil line to supply oil to the Vortech supercharger.

Thanks Logan. I might try that, but I don't know how reliable able it will be with no oil flow past the sensor. It might have to wait. I need to focus on the main goal of this project so I can for one: drive it, and two; finish this thread!

Do you already have a temp sensor or do you need to get one yet? If you don't have one and you really like the idea of putting it at the pressure sensor location, you could put a pipe Tee at the current pressure sensor location with the straight through vertical and the tee to one side. Place the pressure sensor in the side of the tee and get a long enough temperature sensor to run completely through the straight through portion of the tee and into the oil passage so that the tip of the sensor is immersed in the moving oil path.
