I just purchased an 08 that was hit in the front, the frame rail extensions were damaged but the frame section after that is fine. my question is i can get the parts from an 2011 but the part numbers are different on the frame horns. will these work in my truck?

 

well so far all I see is the the bumper mounts are different. not sure if this will ever come up again for anyone else but it looks like all that would need to be changed is the bumper mounts and everything else looks to be the same.

 

you could locate a frame section from a salvage yard,they will cut it where you want it.

 

I was able to finish it up using the 2011 frame horns, the bumper mounts and the body mounts are in a different location and had to be modified, but in the end it all worked out. truck was inspected and passed no problem.
