1993 F-250 Electrical Problem

I was traveling on the hwy last night. When I turned on my headlights on or hit the right turn signal, My voltage gauge dropped and the Temp gauge maxed out on hot. It did seam like there was a short, but when the engine was idling it didnt seem to load the alternator. I am thinking a ground issue. Any thoughts would nice. IT did this for about 10 minutes and then when back to normal for the rest of the 200 miles

Sounds like you have a bad ground on your instrument panel.
