for sure. i like learning. I've been able to pick up a lot from various forums around the internet. this one seems to be super active and full of some really knowledgeable folks.
thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
as for the truck.....not too mod heavy. it's got a DP 6 pos. chip and 4in exhaust. oh yea, and some stereo stuff. i plan to do a couple performance things here and there, but not too much. I'm definitely into the mods that will increase longevity. i am aware, though, that you can't have your cake and eat it too. so, i'll choose the upgrades that will keep this thing around for a long time to come. i plan to make this my daughter's first truck, so it's gotta last awhile yet. 15 years and 10 months to go haha

i should add.......i bought the truck like you see it in the pic. so, i can't take the credit for it. got a smooookin deal on it. got stolen 5 or 6 months after i bought it. recovered the next day.....most of it at least. spent the next 6 months goin round and round with insurance before i finally just bent over and let them give it to me. 10ish grand later and here we are. still messin with theft related electrical issues. but, I've had my hand on every square inch of that truck and really enjoy it. a truck doesn't feel like mine until I've spun some wrenches on it. and I'm getting to learn a lot about the powerstroke's. it's turned in to a hobby.

good job rich on the ad. And yes we'd love to see it at the G2G, also! I almost bought a powerstroke on a 8inch lift down near Polk until I test drove it and the steering column was jacked up and the truck itself ran terrible. But eitherway I love the look and it'll be a good gift to your daughter
